Hundreds of innocent Syrian citizens died in chlorine gas attacks this week. It's been going on for far too long. We don't know the perpetrators; could be the Russians, the Iranians or the Syrian leader Assad. Or, it might be all three of them in concert.
This I do know. A few years ago we had a president who drew a Red Line in the sand to stop the murder. Nothing happened. All talk and no action. The world looked to leadership from the United States and got nothing.
When questioned about his inaction he(the president) backtracked, "I didn't draw a line in the sand. The world drew a line."
Here's the beauty of the Obama foreign policy in Syria. In 2014 Sec. of State, Susan Rice and Barack Obama told the American people all poison gas had been removed from the country because Assad told them so.
Think about it, will you please. Chlorine gas is murder against humanity.
