California isn't the only place where a hair salon owner got into a jam this week. Alison Birch owns a salon in Stroud, England and she needed to hire so she placed an ad in the local newspaper:
"This is a busy, friendly small salon so only happy people need apply" Sounds good to me but to the local authorites say it doesn't cut mustard.
Her ad was considered discriminatory against unhappy people therefore ixinay on the aday.
