Meaningless Victory

Are you jackin' me around? After all the hype only 120,000 frost bitten souls bothered to attend the Iowa Caucus and vote their preference. It's not like Iowa is North Dakota, population of one. There are over 3 million in the state. That means a good two-thirds have to be over eighteen and of voting age. So what's all the fuss? Wanna know the best thing about the Iowa Caucuses? They are over! Done! Kaput! There are no more robo calls. The radio and TV commercials are extinct. The good people of Iowa can go back to their regular lives and do the things they enjoy most: cheering on the Cyclones and Hawkeyes and preparing themselves for the most important post-winter event of the year; the girl's state high school basketball championships. Which leads me into my own salute: "Go, Boone High Toreadors".
