Today is packing day for our trip to the Florida Panhandle. As is the case I'll begin my packing tomorrow morning, about two hours before lift off. Lizzie has completed the task; a very typical move on her part.
We'll drive tomorrow until I get tired. There is a problem with this. The Queen likes it when I have the entire trip planned, down to the restaurants where we eat and the motels where we stay. I like to do it on the fly. If the motel looks good we stop. If I don't like it we move on. I always hope for a Fairfield Inn that goes for $18.79 per night. Maybe that's why I keep on driving. We'll hit the hay in either Nashville, Huntsville or Montgomery, Alabama. That is, unless we do the 15 hours to Destin non-stop. With me, one never knows.
