Watching The NCAA's

Cy the Cyclone(pictured)

It's only because I have 20 years coaching experience as a high school basketball coach that I'm qualified to make a couple of observations. I am, of course, speaking of the NCAA basketball tournament. Does it seem to you that the #1 seeds seem to get the favorable calls. There have been too many blown calls by referees. Schools in the South have the best looking cheerleaders by far. No one is a close second. Do you remember when the UCLA cheerleaders were to college basketball what the Dallas Cowgirls are to the NFL. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson proved again there is little racism is this country and they are race baiters. I'm witnessing more and more coaches who are black. It goes without saying that 90% of the players are black. Let's face it. The game was invented for them; jump and run faster than anyone. Ever heard of Jesse Owens? There is more parity than ever. Mid-major schools, and this is good, can take it to the so-called big boys. If Iowa State defeats Kentucky I'll be overjoyed. If they don't, well, I'll survive but Kentucky will always be a bunch of cheating crooks. John Calipari is the perfect fit for Kentucky. The only thing about him that's missing is his picture on a post office wall. Duke was defeated by Lehigh. This is another proof that there is a God. If North Carolina goes down to defeat against Creighton all will be right with the world. If it were at all possible I would adopt Aaron Craft of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He's tenacious and he plays the game like a Bulldog. Michigan was beaten by Ohio University. Another proof that there is a God. Missouri should get used to being losers. They left the Big 12 for the Southeast Conference. They'll never win again and their cheerleaders might as well put on dog collars. Mizzou cheerleaders compared to the University of Florida? That's like Roseanne Barr being in a beauty contest against Jessica Biel. If you've never heard of Fred Hoiberg you should learn about him. Royce White from Iowa State palms a basketball the way I do a ping pong ball.
It'll be nice when the tourney is over. My butt is sore from sitting all day long. The problem is it's only just begun. Go Cyclones!
