Catholics In America: Pathetic

I get a pass on anything I write about Catholics because I am a practicing one: In reading the opening paragraph of this article from the American Spectator I wanted to puke yesterday's dinner on my new golf shorts:

The most anti-Catholic president in American history is on track to win the Catholic vote, according to recent polling. Obama enjoys a 51 to 42 percentage lead over Romney, reported the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life last week. Alarmed by this gap, the Romney team has finally rolled out an ad that highlights Obama's war on religion.

As it says in the closing paragraph of this article: Obama is only religious when it comes to Planned Parenthood and Hollywood.
I'm going to start a writing campaign and it will continue for a long time to come. If you profess to be Roman Catholic and vote for the most anti-religious president in the history of this country, a president who attacks the traditions of my faith on a daily basis------If you vote for this man then you should be excommunicated from the Church. You should be ostracized to the highest order. You should be vilified on the public square-----and I'm just the man to do it. If I happen to berate these people what do I care?  I'm not going to change their vote so I might as well have some fun mocking them. http://spectator.org/archives/2012/08/10/be-not-afraid-mitt

I'm smart enough to know that there are a whole lot of Catholics out there who are in name only; about 53%. It's the other 47% that concern me most. They are the regular attendees yet they still believe the crap Obama utters. For me, though, what has he done to make them still believe? It's like Obama would be married to one of them then goes out and doinks a jillion babes but his wife continues to forgive his indifidelities. What am I missing?
