As soon as I saw the headline in the NY Post about the oldest living man dying I asked myself, "India or Japan?" It was Japan. Must be the fish and seaweed because it seems all the oldsters have a monopoly on long life. Anyway, Mr. Watanabe at age 112 lived a rather long and, I hope, prosperous life. Hell, I think it's amazing he survived WWII.
You might be interested in knowing the oldest living woman, Kane Tanaka age 117, also lives in Japan.
