Columbus Ohio Photo-Op

I'm only making guesses about the cost hiring of 25 Columbus policemen in the presence of President Obama. It's been stated that these new officers will be paid through December 31, 2009 when their federal funding from the supposed stimulus bill runs out.
Let's face it. It was the same kind of photo op one would see from Bubba Clinton. Remember the 100,000 cops on the street that only came to 16,000? That, too, had it's share of photo-ops. The Clinton's were masters of the fake out and Obama is following in their footsteps.
I recall back to Valentines' Day week-end. Obambi flew Michelle, himself and the kids to Chicago on Air Force One. The love birds went to dinner at their favorite restaurant. After a quick flight back to D.C. to drop off the wife and kids Obama then flew to Denver for a bill signing then onto Phoenix to give a speech on global warming. The guesstimated costs for this flight, round trip, comes to $600,000. So, the flight to Columbus, to shake hands with 25 newly sworn in cops, would come in at around $200,000.
200K would have given the guys another month or so of work. Were it I who had just received my shield I'd be making up a resume' to get out of town before the january bills come due.
