The University Of Notre Dame

I get a charge out of my kids, especially when they have want to express their opinions. All three of them are very christian, very successful, excellent parents and extremely clever with the written word. I had forwarded to them some thoughts and articles on Obama speaking to the 2009 graduating class at the University of Notre Dame. One of my sons came back with the idea that for Obama, to be the featured speaker at a Catholic university, would be the same as David Duke or Robert Byrd speaking at Grambling University or Madonna giving the address at Brigham Young University. Give it some thought and imagine the queen of material girls on the podium at Provo. Pretty funny, huh? Obama at South Bend-----not so hilarious, especially for those who follow the teachings of Christ. Shame on the Rev. John Jenkins, president of ND. The backlash against Obama as speaker has already begun and rest assured donations from alumni will dry up faster than a thirty second rain in the Mohave Desert.
