One million eight hundred thousand dollars in pork spending to study odors coming from farm pigs. That subject is being used to justify the spending necessary to eliminate this "problem" and it comes from Tom Harken(D) Senator from Iowa, my home state. Harken is calling the smell study 'swine research'. Saying swine must sound more intelligent than using the word pig. As far as I can tell pigs, for centuries, have stunk. I used to work in pulp and paper mills. Some townsfolk used to complain about the odor coming from the mill. I used to say, "it smells like money to me".
If a pig didn't stink it wouldn't be a pig.
