Pete & Sylvia: Forever

As most of you know I'm an obituary reader. Pictured above are Pete and Sylvia Cottral. Aren't they adorable. Pete has that mischievous look on his face while Sylvia  gazes lovingly either saying, "Pete, now stop that" or "he is just so cute". Maybe it's because I'm a history major but obituaries tell a lot about a person and the life they lived. Obits are a person's story in miniature. Shoot! I enjoy walking through cemetery's reading grave stone inscriptions. Both of these 'youngsters' were born in Clinton Iowa which is situated in the very eastern part of the Hawkeye state. They lived in that community their entire lives. Pete was 96 and Sylvia 95. They passed away, minutes apart, on May 12, 2012-- forever together.
