The NFL, National Football League, has visions of expanding to Europe. God only knows why since their football is of a slightly different version than ours. It must have something to do with money.
Anyway, the Washington Redskins are scheduled to play an exhibition game in London next Fall. Britain's Labour Party issued a statement asking that the game be boycotted due to, and you know what's coming, until the 'Skins change their name and logo. It's the same old same old.
The next time a liberal buffoon starts in with their mantra of silliness drop this on them:
For the record, the team's logo is taken from the image that was on the "heads" side of what's called the "Buffalo" nickel. And THAT was minted to honor American Indians, and the American bison. If the logo is racist and offensive, then so is the coin. But you don't hear many people claiming the nickel is racist or offensive and all of them ought to be melted down.
If this doesn't work remind the hypocrites that during the British Occupation of India 7 million Bengali's were exterminated. Let me think. Wasn't there a saying, something about 'the sun never sets on the British flag'?
This proof won't make a whits it of difference but your superiority will be ingrained in your brain as if it needed to be. How difficult is it to have a conversation with a rock.
