Examples of a nincompoop would be a presidential candidate who, when backed in a corner and has no constructive and informative answer, will call his accusers 'choke artists' and 'losers'. The fascinating aspect of all this is one of the candidates, let's say the nincompoop, is the only candidate losing to Hillary and Sanders at this time.
Followers of said nincompoop believe nonsensical statements made by their demagogic choice. For instance, if a candidate states "under my presidency there will be a wall built to keep immigrants from coming in and that country will pay for it". Were I running for political campaign with lemmings as supporters and said, "If I am elected the Chicago Cubs will go undefeated in 2016 and win every playoff and World Series game" it would have the same result.
My suggestion for these lemmings is to visit the website of their candidate. Nothing is written specifically but the messages come in the form of videos. In essence they say, if we vote for this person we are going to be "very, very happy; happier than we have ever been in our lives". He states this numerous times. I feel better already.
