Donald Trump came to Central Ohio last Saturday to stump for Troy Balderson in a special election. Balderson's opponent, Danny O'Conner seems to have run a campaign based on being a Roman Catholic. Originally he ran against Pelosi's values. Someone from D.C. must have gotten ahold of him because he changed his tune within 24 hours. He must not realize if he goes against the leaders of his party money doesn't come into his district.
Balderson has won the district vote by about 15%. Democrats will claim victory, albeit a phyrric one. A loss is a loss isn't it? I've always said excuses are for losers. Democrats lead the league in this statistic.
This defeat for the Dems is like being in the Super Bowl and losing by 1 point then saying it was win.
So, Balderson goes to the House replacing Pat Tiberi and these two guys go head to head again in November. Troy boy is very fortunate. Even if he loses he'll get his salary and all the benefits a congressman receives for the rest of his life.
You do know how I feel about politicians. There's no bigger pile of b.s. than when they say, "I'm going to fight for you".
