Some folks have the innate ability to turn gold into lead. I am one of these simpletons. If you'll recall there was a slight accident with the computer and yours truly while at the Minnesota compound last summer. It seems these 'accident's with said computer occur at the most inopportune time; while in the Arctic, travelling the Orient express or, in the case of last evening, in a Super 8 motel in Percival, Iowa which is near nowhere. I am, though, thousands of miles from home base and my friendly computer store where I am on a first name basis with all employees, janitors included. While reclining in bed last evening said computer carelessly jumped out of my grasp and crashed to the floor snapping the 'male' portion of the power cord in half. It's lucky for me I bought 'stupid' insurance** last December. The question is, is a power cord even covered by 'stupid' insurance? Due to my inability to keep cars, home appliances, sporting goods and electrical equipment of any kind without destroying said products I am now awarding myself the all-time Klutz Award honored at any klutz store located across the nation.
Due to my careless, which does keep the economy flowing, MJ is going to have to conserve 'computer juice' so there will be minimal activity until March 10 when I'm back at Camp Hawkeye. Hang in there with me boys and girls.
**stupid insurance: Paying an extra $200.00 to cover damage to a computer in a two year period(chances are slim this covers power cords)
