Checks And Balances As Defined By Our Dictator

A noun

"A system of distribution of power among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government, in relatively equal proportions, such that each branch has the ability to counter the actions of the other two and thus prevent the entire government from being controlled by any single branch".

President Obama has unleashed, perhaps, his most lethal attack to date when he declared war on the Supreme Court and lower courts.
In a news conference with President Calderone of Mexico and Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, from Canada Obama issued the following statement: "

"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress".

This paragraph is so awful it barely needs explanation. "Unprecedented" means the courts have never before overturned law. "Well, Mr. Scholar President, have you ever heard of Marbury v. Madison?. Now, turn to the last remark, "passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress". In the House the bill, because of bribes and kick-backs and lies(no abortion in the bill) passed by a margin of somewhere around 7 votes. In the Senate, because of the "Cornhusker Kickback" and the "Louisiana Purchase", the passage of this bogus healthcare bill, the one whose price tag grows by trillions of dollars daily, would never have seen the light of day. The democrat controlled Senate passed the bill with defections while no Republican supported it. That is not exactly a strong majority.

"Barack, it's called the Legislative, the Executive and the Judicial for a reason; all are equal and act as a check on each other to make sure one branch doesn't become too powerful".

I fully realize in a dictatorship it doesn't work that way. If God hates the United States you'll have the opportunity to pursue our destruction next November and afterwards.
