Between A Rock And A Hard Place

It's no secret concerning my opinion regarding Donald Trump. He's a vulgar piece of bat scat and that's a nice way if putting it. He's a demagogue worse than Huey Long of the 1930's.

My wife and I have gone round and round about him the past three weeks. This is highly unusual because Her Highness always keeps her mouth shut and her powder dry. She is a typical Scotswoman which makes sense because that's from where her ancestors migrated to the US.

Her dad kept his mouth so closed when he opened it moths flew out. Scots rarely divulge their feelings. When I asked The Queen to marry me it took  month for her to give me an answer because that's how long it takes for Scots to come to a conclusion. So, you can imagine how shocked I was when she vehemently excoriated the bombastic Trump. "I will never vote for that person", she said. Good God, I'd never heard her so excitable. "Relax", I said, "it's a long way to the election"

She came back with, "If he wins I'm going to either Ireland or Nova Scotia". Since I've been married for slightly over 47 years I know how to pick my battles so I shut up and let her rant. In the first place, why would anyone besides a nut ball go to Nova Scotia. Their socialistic policies and taxes are higher than Mt. Everest. As for going to Ireland who knows? I figure she picked it because that's where her mom's ancestors emigrated? Ireland would be okay but living there would mean I might not be able to attend many Iowa Hawkeye and Iowa State Cyclone events.

Words cannot describe the animus I feel towards Donald Trump---except for one thing. If Hillary is elected she would have the power to select possibly up to three members of the Supreme Court. Will she pick conservatives, middle of the roaders or hardcore communist anti-ten amendment folks. Hmmm! Liberal pro-abortion judges? Hmm! I give up. What do you think?

The Supreme Court of the future and its makeup, though it is not often mentioned, is the most important aspect of this election.
As for Trump selecting conservative or semi-conservative justices who knows. It'll be a huge guessing game. With Hillary you know what you're getting.

Throw the dice, folks. It's your decision. All I know is I'm not going to ruffle the feathers of The Queen. She makes one hell of a casserole.
