Electric Car Mfgr. Gets Gov't Loan: Will Build Cars In Finland
"Hurry, hurry, hurry, get your money from Uncle Sam". Does that read like something a sideshow barker would shout? The sideshow barker, in this case, is the Obama government. They have give a loan of $529 million to an electric car maker to build their vehicles in Finland. The auto co., Fisker, said they couldn't find an appropriate facility to build their product in the US. Two items here: (1)for the number of cars of this type to be sold they could use a phone booth and (2) drive around Detroit and Cleveland and look at the the number of vacant auto buildings.
