Every major television network is located in New York. The New York Times is in NYC. The City contains the major talking heads. All of these people determine the policies of the United States.
People want to get on with their lives in the U.S. but the state of New York won't allow it. New York has had 27, 000 deaths. New Jersey across the river has had 6,000 deaths. The other 48 states have had 30,000 meet their demise.
