Sort Of Like When The Nazis Burned The Books

Back in the early 1930's the Nazis had a book burning festival to get rid of all writings offensive to the regime. It occurred on a limited scale in the second largest school district in Alaska. The reason given  by the Board of Education by a vote of 5-2 for this measure; some of the books contained bad language and had examples of racism.

The Matanuska-Susitna School Board,(MSSB) serving the second largest school district in Alaska (about 16,000 students), has just committed a dire act of censorship.
 “Invisible Man” by Ralph Ellison
Catch-22” by Joseph Heller
The Things They Carried” by Tim O’Brien
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” by Maya Angelou
The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I would like to write, can you believe it, but yes I do.

From why evolution is true
