The "Durbin Fee"

I'll make this short. Dick Durbin, a progressive/communist senator from Illinois, wanted to stick it to the banks and put some money in the federal coffers. He had a special bank fee attached to another looney dem bill. The banks don't like paying out of their own pockets so they pass it on to the consumer. From now on when you, the consumer, use a debit card you will be paying a $5 fee. Durbin is angry at the banks but what the hell did he think would happen? It's how the game is played
