Rules Are Different For Republicans

What you just read was a lead in sentence for an article from conservative writer, Cal Thomas. You know the statement is true. During the Republican convention of 2008 I read an article from Johnathan Riskind of the Columbus, Ohio Dispatch. Know what it was about? Well, it was Sarah Palin this and Sarah Palin that. I wrote Riskind an email asking why he hadn't focused on the 'alleged' infidelity of that bon vivant, John Edwards and the rumors surrounding his peccadillo's. This was a blockbuster story in, of all things, The National Enquirer. They scooped everyone in a report that he was messing around with Reille Hunter and that there was the possibility a 'love child'. To me, since he was a senator ran for the presidency this seemed like a huge story. To me, in that he wanted to be vice-president with Numb Nuts this seemed bigger than huge. Of course, I asked Riskind why his lack of journalistic pursuit. His response to me was, "Sarah Palin is all the buzz". What a pathetic attempt at protecting one of their own.
