Nate the Skate was a Marines Reservist from 1972-76. The closest he got to Nam was watching Robin Williams do his schtick in Hello Vietnam.
He was a refrigerator mechanic and went AWOL three times.

We learned from the Internet that Phillips has a history of banging his Indian drum at protests to troll conservatives over the last 20 years. He spent some time outside Trump Tower.

Nathan Phillips and his drum-and-chant group tried to disrupt a Catholic Mass in Northeast Washington.

reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources, that the group of about 20 activists sought to enter the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday during its 5:15 p.m. Vigil Mass. Police had to be called to guarantee protection for parishoners.
